Climb Higher. Grow Deeper. Lead No Matter What:

Grays Peak

No Matter What 1-Day Growth & Leadership Immersion: Grays Peak (14,278 ft)

Union of Opposites

Grays Peak—often paired with its twin, Torreys—embodies the paradox of partnership. Two distinct paths converge toward a single summit, separated only by a short, rugged saddle.

This mountain teaches that growth often comes through tension—the reconciliation of difference within ourselves and with others. For Indigenous peoples, twin peaks represented harmony between masculine and feminine energies, or between seen and unseen worlds. To climb Grays is to cross that threshold: from separation to integration, from competition to collaboration.

“The unknown isn’t what stands in the way—it’s the path itself. Every step into uncertainty is a step into leadership.” - Sterling

  • Integration — Bridge inner and outer alignment

Grays and Torreys stand side by side, two distinct summits connected by one narrow ridge. That crossing becomes a living metaphor for leadership—bringing your inner world of intention, emotion, and purpose into alignment with your outer world of action and results. This climb invites you to reconcile the split between who you are and how you lead, until the two move as one.

  • Partnership — Strengthen collaboration through discomfort

True partnership isn’t built in comfort—it’s tested in challenge. On Grays, you’ll feel what it means to rely on others when the path gets steep and fatigue sets in. The climb reveals how authentic collaboration emerges when we drop pretense, embrace vulnerability, and move together toward something greater than ourselves.

  • Balance — Harmonize action and reflection, drive and stillness

The mountain demands both movement and pause. Every push toward the summit is matched by moments of stillness that allow for recalibration and awareness. You’ll learn how balance isn’t about perfect equilibrium—it’s the art of knowing when to act, when to listen, and how to hold both ambition and presence in the same breath.

  • Trust — Deepen relational leadership

Grays teaches that trust is not a static trait, but a living exchange. As you traverse the rocky saddle or share the silence of the ascent, you’ll experience how trust forms in shared vulnerability, mutual respect, and the steady rhythm of collective progress. It’s the kind of trust that turns groups into teams and leaders into allies.

Growth doesn’t happen when things are easy.

It happens when you step into the unknown — and stay long enough to see what emerges.

In business, in life, and in leadership, that’s the real edge.

This adventure gives you the tools and the trust to navigate it — No Matter What.

He's taken that experience to work with C-level teams and leaders and speak on stages around the world. He's been featured in magazines like Forbes, Fast Company, The New York Times and Inc.

He believes that there is no growth without discomfort – and it requires courage, commitment, community and the cultivation of  trust to move through the uncomfortable and uncertain and into breakthrough results. To inspire people to unlock their own inherent potential, he shares key practices that help us push beyond our perceived limits to make a difference for our companies, communities and families. When he's not at home in Colorado, he may be out skydiving, swimming with sharks or adventuring with the No Matter What Movement.

Her expertise lies in translating bold ideas into actionable outcomes, ensuring that the No Matter What methodology extends beyond the keynote stage into lasting change for individuals, teams and companies.

She believes growth requires courage, commitment, and community. Through her work, she creates spaces where people can confront discomfort, unlock their potential, and discover what they’re truly capable of. Whether uniting executives across cultural barriers, supporting leaders in breaking free of limiting beliefs, or guiding participants step by step on the Inca Trail, Haviland blends clarity, compassion and challenge to deliver breakthrough results.

When she’s not home in Colorado, you’ll find her alongside Sterling, leading No Matter What adventures and retreats or exploring new frontiers that continue to push her own edges.
